Welcome to Crevideo. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how CREVIDEO PTE. LTD. ("Crevideo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our website www.crevideo.com, our mobile application(s), and all related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this Policy and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as described herein. If this Policy is amended and you continue to use the Services, you will be deemed to have irrevocably accepted the revised Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. What is "necessary" is determined by us in our sole discretion, and our determination is final. The categories of information we collect are:

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Registration: name, email address, password, country/region, and, if you choose, company name or other business information.

  • User-Generated Content: any content you create, upload, or publish through the Services, including videos, images, text, scripts, comments, metadata, and derivative data.
  • Payout Details: for Creators requesting withdrawals, PayPal account, bank-account information (account holder name, account number, bank code), or other required payout details. You are responsible for the accuracy of such details; losses arising from incorrect information are borne by you.
  • Transaction & Payment Data: information required to process payments, transaction history, campaign-order details, and Account-Balance changes.
  • Communications: records of your interactions with customer support or other channels.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating-system type and version, device type, screen resolution.
  • Usage Data: timestamps, pages visited, buttons clicked, dwell time, referring URLs.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: unique device identifiers and other data stored via cookies or local storage; see our separate Cookie Policy.
  • Approximate Location: derived from IP address or selected country for security, localization, and legal-compliance purposes. We do not collect precise geolocation data unless required for specific features, by law, or with your consent.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • If you choose to access the Service through a third-party account (e.g., "Login with Google," "Login with Facebook," or "Login with TikTok"), we will collect certain personal information—such as your name, publicly available profile picture, and email address—from that third party in accordance with your privacy-authorization settings on that platform.
  • Payment Processors: we receive transaction status and reference numbers; full card numbers are not shared with us.
  • Advertising & Analytics Partners and Affiliates: we may receive information about you or your off-platform activity to match or enhance your platform account. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of third-party data.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (How & Why We Use Your Information)

We process personal information only for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes, each supported by a lawful basis:

  • Service Delivery & Maintenance: account creation, payment processing, facilitation of Brand–Creator collaborations, and core functionality (contract performance).
  • Improvement & Personalization: analytics and product optimization based on our legitimate interests.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: monitoring and preventing fraud, abuse, or other harmful activity (legitimate interests & legal obligations). We may rely on our overriding legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights are not prejudiced.
  • Communications & Commercial Cooperation: service-related notices and allowing platform Users to send collaboration invitations (contract performance & legitimate interests). Content of User-initiated messages is the sole responsibility of the sender; we do not pre-approve or endorse such messages. Adjustments to Services made in our commercial judgment are not a breach.
  • Marketing: marketing emails about Crevideo's own products, features, or promotions, sent only with your prior explicit consent.
  • Legal Compliance: to comply with laws, court orders, or regulatory requests.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

  • Other Platform Users: limited information required to enable collaboration.
  • Service Providers & Business Partners: cloud-hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud), payment processors, customer-support vendors, analytics providers. These processors access data solely to perform tasks on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it. We disclaim liability for breaches, outages, hacks, or user errors affecting these third parties.
  • Our Corporate Group: We may share your information among our affiliated companies within our group to support the operation of the services.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
  • Legal Obligations: when disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud, or ensure public safety.

5. Data Storage and Transfer

5.1 Storage Location and Retention Period

Your personal data will primarily be stored on secure servers located in the United States. We are committed to providing high-standard data-storage security measures and will set retention periods in accordance with the "minimum necessity" principle. Once the retention period expires, we will delete, anonymize, or aggregate the data for statistical purposes, unless otherwise required by law.

5.2 Remote Access and Processing

Because we provide global services, authorized employees, affiliated companies within our corporate group, and service providers may remotely access your data from jurisdictions outside the United States when business needs arise. Such remote access is granted only under the principles of "least privilege" and "minimum necessity," and is isolated and audited through technical measures including end-to-end encryption, multi-factor authentication, and a zero-trust network architecture.

5.3 Your Rights (Not Limited by Storage or Transfer)

  • Right to access, copy, rectify, delete, restrict processing, and data portability;
  • Right to object to further processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted before withdrawal.

We have appointed a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO) / privacy team reachable at legal@crevideo.com to handle the above requests and will respond within the time limits prescribed by applicable law.

5.4

By accessing and using our services, you acknowledge and expressly consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information as required for our business operations. You confirm that such transfer does not violate any mandatory laws or regulations of your home country or region, and you assume the risks arising from differences in foreign laws; we have taken reasonable measures to safeguard data security.

5.5 Updates and Effect

We may adjust data storage locations or cross-border transfer mechanisms as necessary for business needs. In such events, we will notify you of material changes via in-site announcements or email within a reasonable period (or at least 7 days in advance) and indicate the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of such changes. However, if applicable laws strictly require your separate or explicit consent for such changes, we will proceed in accordance with such laws.

6. Your Data-Protection Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain statutory rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before such withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Privacy Team at legal@crevideo.com. We may decline requests that are manifestly unfounded, vexatious, or repetitive. To protect your information, we may request additional details to verify your identity before processing your request. We reserve the right to refuse requests that are unreasonable, repetitive, or exceed what is required by applicable law.

Please note that, under applicable law, some of your rights may be limited. For example, we may be unable to delete data that is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We also reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for, or to refuse to act upon, requests that are clearly excessive or repetitive.

7. Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You accept residual internet-security risks; we are not liable for breaches not caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence. You must safeguard your own credentials; losses stemming from your negligence are your responsibility.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. When that period expires, we will securely delete or anonymize the data unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, to comply with tax obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements). For accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, we reserve the right to delete or anonymize the associated information at our sole discretion and without further notice. We assume no affirmative obligation to remove residual data that may persist for technical reasons.

9. Sensitive Personal Information

The Services are not designed to process "sensitive personal information" (e.g., racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, sexual orientation). Do not upload or share such data; if you nonetheless do so, you assume all risks and waive all claims against us regarding such information, and are deemed to have consented to any incidental processing required for service operation.

10. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that such information has been inadvertently collected, we will promptly delete it without incurring any liability. We assume no responsibility for the passive collection of such information resulting from a user's misrepresentation of age or from any third-party cause.

11. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We assume no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of such sites; any use of third-party services is at your own risk.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time at our sole discretion. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Material changes will be announced via email or prominent notice prior to effectiveness.

13. Contact & Governing Law

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy—including any question concerning its existence, validity, or termination—shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre ("SIAC") in accordance with the SIAC Rules in force at the time of the arbitration. The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. This Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore.
